Go to www.blackbullion.com/unibattle every day for two weeks. Do stuff – there’s a checklist – and earn points. It’s super easy, actually helpful, and you get bragging rights over other unis who always think they are the best. Of course, your uni is the best – so prove it!
What’s this about?
It’s a competition to encourage students to learn about and manage their money. Blackbullion is also a place to find additional funds to help you through university. The competition takes you on a tour of the many things you can do to get on top of your finances, and as you do – you earn points for your uni.
We think financial smarts is the most important learning you can do – I appreciate we are biased – but life gets so much easier when you know how to make money work for you.
Why should I?
Well, why not? And you get the chance to win some great prizes. From £100 in cash to a brand-new laptop – and more.
Your university also has £50 to give to a player of their choice. You know they want the Money Smartest 2024 trophy in the cabinet and the badge on the website – do you know they even get a doughnut tower to share with students? I’m pretty sure they wanna eat those doughnuts, too.
You also get the chance to get a handle on money – and who doesn’t need that when they are at university? This is a win-win-win. You get to learn how to manage your budget better and find funds when times get tough. You also win prizes, and the university gets to win something other unis haven’t. They like it when they do that.
How do I take part?
Go to www.blackbullion.com/unibattle and register. And wait until 11th November. You can do stuff now, but you won’t earn points for Unibattle. So, you know, if you are in it to win it – then pause a mo.
Between 11th and 22nd November (3 pm hard deadline), come back daily and win points.
