About the fund

Goldsmiths Student Hardship Fund (SHF), incorporating the Childcare Fund, is a limited resource to assist disadvantaged students experiencing financial hardship to continue with their studies and attendance at Goldsmiths.

The aim of the SHF is to remove unexpected and short-term financial barriers. It is not intended as a source of income but rather as a safety net for students in financial difficulty.

The SHF can assist with a contribution towards core living costs only; it cannot meet all expenditure or living costs. The SHF cannot help with Tuition Fees.
