About the fund

King's College London is awarding scholarships for Postgraduate Taught courses in 2025/6. These will comprise of a full tuition fee waiver and a living cost scholarship of £20,000 per year of study.

Sanctuary Scholarships will be awarded to:

- asylum seekers (or those with limited leave to remain as a result of an asylum claim) who are in the UK
- those at immediate risk from, or displaced by, existing or recent conflicts and who are currently outside of the UK
- UK students who are ineligible for student finance due to their immigration status

If you are applying to this scholarship from within the UK:

- A maximum of 4 scholarships will be offered to UK-based students.

If you are applying to this scholarship from outside of the UK:
- A maximum of 4 scholarships will be offered to students currently displaced overseas.

One scholarship will also be reserved in memory of Dr Maisara Alrayyes. You can find more information about this scholarship in the guidance document.
